Activity ALWAY Boosts Your Business

This is the presentation that we make. It is relational and easily duplicated.

1. Joann Peck on Conversion Psychology

“If a customer merely touches a product in a store, they are more likely to purchase it impulsively.” In one study, placing a sign that said “Feel the freshness” near peaches and nectarines led to a significant increase in unplanned purchases.

2. Zachary Estes, Bocconi University

“Just holding a product in your hand increases your likelihood of buying it.” Estes and Streicher found that tactile interaction with products—even under blindfolded conditions—enhanced brand recognition and purchase intent.

3. Eye Faster Shopper Study

“30% of all products held are purchased; 56% of shoppers that hold a product in a category will buy a product in the category; and that number increases to 62% if more than one product is touched.” This study used mobile eye-tracking to reveal that touching a product is the strongest predictor of purchase behavior in-store.

These insights show that touch isn’t just a sensory experience—it’s a psychological trigger that can lead to higher sales. Want to explore how this could be applied to a specific product or store layout?
